Skilled Residential Painter

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and meticulous painter to join our team. You will be responsible for applying paint, stain, and coatings to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes on residential projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work on custom homes at Deep Creek Lake and the surrounding area, with the potential to grow into other roles within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation - Clean, sand, patch, and repair walls, trim, and surfaces; apply primer to ensure proper paint adhesion.

• Painting - Apply paints, stains, and coatings using brushes, rollers, or sprayers to meet specifications.

• Protection - Cover floors, cabinets/countertops, fixtures, etc. with drop cloths/tape to protect against splatter.

• Site Management - Maintain a clean, organized work area and clean equipment after use.

 

Requirements:

• Experience as a painter

• Excellent knowledge of painting materials, tools, and techniques

• Solid understanding of surface preparation methods

• Physical stamina to work on ladders, scaffolding, and lift at least 50 lbs

• Safety focused and consistent use of PPE

• Detailed-oriented, timely, able to work with others and under supervision
